Tiger Came in Third in that Charity Golf Tournament [Update]

Tiger Woods and teammate Suzann Pettersen shot 9-under to finish third in the Notah Begay III charity tournament on Wednesday, an 18-hole, 4-team event. NB3 Challenge defending champs Hunter Mahan and Cristie Kerr retained their title, shooting an 11-under 61, beating Rickie Fowler and Annika Sorenstam by one stroke. (Host Begay III and Natalie Gulbis finished fourth.)

According to Syracuse.com, Woods bombed his first-hole drive right down the fairway and drilled a 10-foot putt for birdie, but scattered drives hither and yon from there on out. According to the AP, Woods' last hole played out with a drive 60 yards offline that he wrangled back under control well enough to finish with an up-and-down for birdie.

The event raised more than $500,000 for Begay III's foundation, which fights childhood obesity
