Contrary to Ludacris's Prediction, Justin Bieber Did Not In Fact Get Spanked in Ludaday Charity Basketball Game

Team Bieber beat Team Luda 134-132 at the annual Ludaday Weekend celebrity basketball game this past Sunday on campus at Morehouse College in Atlanta. The game also featured NBA players Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, John Wall and Kevin Durant, and according to writer/director Alfredo Flores, the loss reportedly broke some sort of six-game win streak for Team Luda.
Things did not at all go the way Ludacris predicted. The two tweeted back and forth earlier in the week, with Bieber saying,
"@Ludacris u are a good man...but #teambieber is gonna kill u on sunday."
To which Luda responded,
"In your Dreams! U gon get a spankin on Sunday!!"
According to Bieber's Twitter timeline, the game was indeed as close as the final score suggests. He tweeted after the game,
"we were down and then made a crazy comeback and even my man @carmeloanthony tried to win it at the end and couldnt take #teambieber"
Probably helped that the Biebs had Durant on his team.
According to The Mirror, Ludacris was actually legitimately ticked to lose the game. And who could blame him? Bieber is 5-foot-5. And he's 17. And he's Justin Bieber. Ludacris is 33. And he's the guy from Fast and Furious. And he's LUDACRIS.
The Mirror reported,
[Lucacris] was heard muttering ... after the game, “It was for charity, it was for charity. And he’s got younger legs."
Yeah. 17-year-old young legs, Luda. And they WHUPPED YA. You got whupped by BIEBER.
Anyway, the big big winner was of course the Ludacris Foundation, for which the game raised $10,000. The foundation was created to inspire youth to take responsibility for their future, build stronger families, and foster economic development.
And really, Bieber looks like he can ball a little bit. Check him out below in a pickup game before the charity game, where he puts a nice little move on Steve Nash. For the reverse! Don't worry Nash. It was for charity, it was for—actually, no, that was for nothing. And because it's Justin Bieber, it went viral 1.3 seconds after it was posted, so a million-plus people have seen it. Burn!
