Snoop Dogg Wins $72K On 'The Price is Right' For His Youth Football Charity

by Brandon Sneed

Snoop Dogg on Monday won more than $72,000 on The Price is Right to kick off the show's "Charity Week," in which TPR pairs celebrities with ordinary contestants to win money for charities of the celebrities' choice.

Basically, whatever prize money the celebrities and contestants earn together, TPR matches in donations to the celebrities' charity. CinemaBlend.com reports that Mr. Dogg helped multiple contestants win $72,585, including a lucky guess that netted one lucky contestant named Darlene a $12,500 win at Plinko.

Snoop's money will go to The Snoop Youth Football League, a charity he founded for inner-city kids ages 5 to 13. It gives them a chance to play football, and its leaders make sure to focus on cultivating in the kids an understanding of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respect for self and others.
